I see this is a beta release...what's the software licening status of this?
Will it still be free when it come out of beta? Is the code time-limited?
Maggie Darwin
This version and subsequent beta revisions have a 45 day expiry to encourage download of the latest release.
Once the program has been sufficiently refined and is in general release, I anticipate charging a nominal amount (< L$3000) for a PRO version to support the development of the product.
However a free version will always be available, but not being a fan of limiting a program's functionality myself, I'm currently undecided as to what restrictions to enforce in the free version. I'm looking forward to feedback from users of the beta in terms of what they would feel would be reasonable.

I don't think $L3000 is too much to ask for a truly useful LSL development tool.
Thanks for your answer.

Just thought I would say, Well Done, to Antonius. Excellent piece of software, for an equally excellent price. I am an active builder in SL and have relied upon others to provide scripts for me. This has given me the incentive to have a go at writing my own. Remember people, It costs nothing to upload a script into SL, unlike textures and sculpties. No wonder the script writers are all rich. lol. Thanks again Antonius. Just thought. some way to test the scripts outside SL would be great. Dont know if thats possible?

Thanks Ostard!
Yes there are two programs that I know of to test LSL scripts outside of SL. The first one is called LSL Editor, works well and is very simple to use; in fact I use it myself to test out scripts.
The second program is called LSL Plus and it is a comprehensive S/W development & testing environment running on the Eclipse platform. It is used by some experienced scripters.
